Snow Day Learning
A very positive side of E learning is that it could allow learning to continue even if pupils are unable to attend schools due to extreme weather conditions like ones earlier this year which shut some schools for over a week. This would be particularly useful when pupils are approaching examinations.

Interestingly enough my essay on a previous module was based on the use of ICT in the event of closure of schools due to swine flu. My conclusion was that there is a long way to go before many schools are at this point.
